Why do 'cool' yanks talk more and more like 14 year-olds? It doesn't make you connect any better to 'the people', it's just ugly and uneducated.
Same thing goes for (mainly) girls who say 'like' every few words. Typical example "...it was like, a really sunny day". Well, was it a bloody sunny day or not???
This whole abbreviation of words due to fitting conversations into 160 characters, and then transferring this particular talent into emails, Facebook messages and invitations is completely unnecessary and embarrassing.
As you see I needed a vent. But please, if you are one, let's make it cool to be a well-spoken and written adult again.
